Langhorne Creek Wine Region
August 28, 2018
When you ask many people where the wine regions in South Australia are the most common replies are The Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and Clare Valley. All of these regions are exquisite and definitely demand a visit, but what about another little gem that is only a 45-minute drive from Seawall Apartments?
Langhorne Creek Wine Region is a gorgeous, intimate country town, which accommodates families that have been making wine for over 100 years! Known for it’s big, bold red wines, Langhorne Creek is definitely worth a visit!
There are 7 unique cellar doors in the region, all offering amazing varietals of red wine including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Temperanillo, Malbec, Zinfandel, Durif and Bernoota. Not all cellar doors are limited to wines mind you.
The Wine House is home to The Meechi Brewing Company, Langhorne Creeks first and only craft beer label.
Also, Rusticana don’t just make cracking wine, they also produce the well known Newman’s Horse Raddish! It is truly a value add on when you visit this delightful cellar door.
Langhorne Creek may be “Undiscovered” but that just simply adds to it’s charm!
