Kangaroo Island – a great day trip while staying at Seawall Apartments

Kangaroo Island, or KI as locals affectionately know it, is described as being like a zoo without fences! Cape Jervis is where you need to head to catch the ferry to KI and is only an hour’s drive from Glenelg. Straight away you will be amazed at the sight of the island, as a third of it is devoted to National Park, Conservation Park and Wilderness Protection areas.

An interesting fact of Kangaroo Island is that the animals, including koalas, kangaroos and wallabies, actually outnumber people! There is also the amazing Seal Bay that is a must to include on your itinerary.

Because of the islands stunning environment, the produce, including wine, seafood, honey and cheese is simply spectacular.

Top you trip off by visiting The Remarkable Rocks, a true beauty of nature that has been formed over thousands of years.

We are so lucky to have such amazing destinations right on the doorstep of Seawall Apartments.

To take the stress out of making sure you see everything, why not take a few days to see it all. Guests often stay at Seawall as a relaxing stop over before and after taking on the island!

If you don't have time to spare we reccomend joining a group tour- they'll pick you up early, you'll see all the main highlights and then they'll drop you back at the end of the day!
